Pastor Smith was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. Leah grew up about 30 minutes from Cleveland, Ohio. Jonah was saved in the second grade and surrendered to God’s call to preach during his senior year of high school. He attended Bible college in Southern California, where he met Leah, and they were married in May 2017. They have two daughters, Sophia and Grace, and one son, Titus.

Pastor Smith has a deep passion for preaching and ministering to people. He served on staff at Harvest Baptist for eight years in a variety of roles, including middle school and high school teacher, young adult Sunday school teacher, congregational song leader, children’s director each summer, and general church staff member.

In his free time, Pastor Smith enjoys chess, golf, playing and coaching basketball, and spending time with his family.
