Pastor Smith was born and raised in Medford, Oregon, while his wife, Leah, grew up in Ohio. He was saved in the second grade and surrendered to God's call to preach during his senior year of high school.
Jonah and Leah met at Bible college in Southern California and were married in 2017. God has blessed them with three children — Sophia, Grace, and Titus.
Before coming to Ashland, Pastor Smith served for eight years at Harvest Baptist Church in a variety of roles, gaining a heart for shepherding people and preaching the Word.
When he isn't studying or serving the church, you'll find him playing chess, out on the golf course, or playing and coaching basketball — and always making time for his family.
